Financial Support for Students and Young Researchers
The US Office of Naval Research and the US National
Science Foundation have generously provided funding for reduced registration
fees and to reimburse hotel expenses for graduate students, post-doctoral
researchers, and young faculty (under age 40) as well as authors needing
special financial assistance. In most cases, this support will be in the
form of registration fee waivers ($225) and lodging assistance (shared
double room at Holiday Inn-Evanston). Registration fees include breakfast,
lunch, and breaks for three days and the conference banquet. Other
meals, ground transportation, airfare, and miscellaneous expenses will
be the responsibility of the attendee.

Given the very limited number funding available for
financial support and the large number of participants requesting support,
please do not request support that can be covered by other resources.
